Privacy
This notice explains which personal data are processed when you visit Mixsofra, under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Data controller: Mixsofra (company being set up; legal name and address will be added once it is registered). Contact: info@mixsofra.com
The data below are collected electronically: automatically, through the requests your browser sends when you use the site, or from what you send us when you email us.
No accounts, forms or tracking
The site has no sign-up, comments or contact form. No analytics that follow visitor behaviour and no advertising cookies are used at present. When membership, a paid subscription or ads are added later, this notice will be updated for the data processed from that day on, and consent will be asked for where required.
What is processed
Server logs: when you open the site, your browser sends requests to the server that hosts it and to the storage service that holds the recipe images. Your IP address, browser details, the page address and the time may be kept briefly in these providers' system logs. They are needed to run and secure the site (KVKK art. 5/2-f, legitimate interest).
Fridge search and menu links: the ingredients you pick and the menus you share are part of the page address. We do not store them separately; they can only appear as page addresses in the server logs above.
Email: if you write to us, your address and message are kept by our email provider so that we can reply (KVKK art. 5/2-c and f).
Cookies and browser storage
No cookies are used for visitors. On the "What should I cook today?" page, your sound on/off choice is kept only in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.
Cookies are used only in the admin area, for the site administrators' login and list view.
Service providers and transfers abroad
The site is currently hosted by Hostinger on a server in Germany, recipe data and images are stored with Supabase (European Union), and email is received through Hostinger. Using these services means the technical data above are processed on servers outside Turkey.
Your personal data are not shared with anyone other than these service providers, and never sold.
How long data are kept
Server logs are kept by the service providers only as long as they technically need them and are then deleted automatically. We do not build visitor profiles from them.
Email correspondence is kept for at most two years after your request has been dealt with, and then deleted.
Security
The connection between your browser and the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Only authorised administrators can open the admin area, with their own passwords, and access to the server is limited to authorised people.
Your rights
Under article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your personal data are processed, request information about it and its purpose, learn which third parties in Turkey or abroad receive it, ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, deleted or destroyed, object, and claim compensation for any damage.
Send requests to info@mixsofra.com with enough information for us to identify you (your name and what your request is about). We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
If your request is refused, you find our answer insufficient, or we do not answer in time, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board under article 14 of the KVKK.
