Ingredients
How many servings?
- 1 onion
- 3 green pepper
- 3 tomato
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g ground lamb
- 1 tbsp pepper paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp hot paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ bunches parsley
Method
- Chop the onion and peppers, dice the tomatoes and crush the garlic.
- Heat the olive oil in a wide pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground lamb and cook for about 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid evaporates and the meat is lightly browned.
- Add the onion, peppers and garlic for 4 minutes, then the pepper paste for 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, cumin, hot paprika and salt. Reduce the heat and cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften, the sauce thickens and the ground lamb is fully cooked.
- Scatter with chopped parsley and serve from the pan.
